At the backside of the motherboard tray area we can see all the upper storage unit bays a little better. You'll get three usable 5.25" drive bays and down deck the six 3.5 hard drive bays with 2.5" compatibility.
Admittedly, I like the design very much, simple yet aesthetically very pleasing. All the wiring that you see already has been done for you. Very handy are the Velcro wraps so you can easily lead and sure cables.
The small PCB functions as a fan hub to all other attached units on the back of the motherboard tray. One feature to note is that the PWM functionality of a motherboard PWM header is used for all connected 3-pin fans. So you use just one wire from your motherboard, define the PWM / RPM in the BIOS and then all other fans will follow that profile. Quite clever as it prevents cable clutter whilst the rest of the wiring is tucked away nicely behind the motherboard tray.
BTW notice that SATA power connector ? The ambient lighting system is powered over this SATA connector, easy and simple.
At the bottom side you can see an example off how the HDDs can be inserted on the rear side of the motherboard tray area. Again done for aesthetically reasons.
You can also house two SSDs on the backside of the motherboard tray. Handy and easy to use.
