Phanteks Eclipse P600s review -
Product showcase – the finished build
On this page, you’ll find a selection of photos of the finished build inside the Phanteks Eclipse P600S. The GPU that was used has an AIO LCS, and the CPU is cooled (for measurements) either with air (Thermalright True Spirit 120 Direct) or a liquid cooler (NZXT Kraken X62) placed at the front.
For the purpose of this section, the Asus Ryujin 360 was used (placed at the top).
The Eclipse P600S is targeted more at the liquid cooling market, but an air cooler will still do just fine (more details on the following page). The motherboard is an ATX form factor one (and looks relatively small in this Phanteks chassis), based on the Z390 chipset, with a de-lidded i7 8700K @ 4.8 GHz inside. The GPU comes from Aorus, and it’s the Waterforce version (GeForce GTX 1080 Ti). The final effect is looking very neat.
As for the installation, there were no issues, and it’s practically the same layout as in the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X. The PSU is mounted like in quite many other cases today, using a removable bracket. There’s enough space for the cables. There are three cable management holes with black plastic covers on the side of the motherboard, and two openings above, and that’s more than enough. Overall – hardware installation was very easy. My only complaint about the Eclipse P600S would be the lack of a plastic cover for the front section of the PSU shroud (same as for the Evolv X), but this applies only to setups with typical/rather slim AIO radiators. And now some shots (if you want some bling-bling in daily use, you’ll be better off buying the tempered glass panel version).
And some shots with the RGB on:
