Product showcase – interior
The Phanteks Eclipse P600S is equipped with two 140 mm fans. You can install up to three 120/140 mm ones instead. This amount of space is enough to fit even 420 mm radiators.
There are no LED strips running along the front panel like in Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X.
You can mount up to a 95 mm radiator + fan (typically 25 mm wide) setup, so the radiator itself can be as beefy as 70 mm.
The backside of the Phanteks chassis is clean (but not as clean as in the Evolv X with its two metal covers), and it’s quite easy to route all the cables properly.
The clearance is not as big as we would like it to be. It’s in the 20 mm range on the right-hand side (this can be a couple mm too little in some scenarios).
On the left side it’s better, as there are 30 mm of space available.
At the lower-left side, there is a place for up to four removable HDD/SSD cages. The standard cables include USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C (not every motherboard has headers for that), and front panel connections (with HD audio), as well as one SATA connector (for fan hub). The cabling is black, which improves the aesthetics of the whole package.
It’s possible to connect three 3-pin fans, four typical 4-pin (PWM) ones, and the last port is universal (3/4 pin). The plug coming from this one is connected to the motherboard for fan control.
The last thing that I’d like to mention on this side is the GPU anti-sag bracket. The test system didn’t need it, as it’s an AIO-cooled graphics cards, so it’s not as heavy as some of the best air cooling solutions on the market (like the Asus Strix or the MSI TwinFrozr)
