When it comes to wiring, we feel we are missing a little more connectivity, have a look:

Connectors:

  • 24-pin, 8-pin CPU
  • 4/8-pin CPU
  • 2 x 6-pin PCI-E
  • 2 x 6/8-pin PCI-E
  • 12 SATA
  • 7 Peripheral
  • 1 Floppy

So what I am missing here is another set of 6-pin PCI-E connectors. If you go 3-way SLI, you already have two connectors AWOL, which the need to be fed from the Molex connectors of which there are only 7 available.

Or say you want to go SLI with highend cards and add another adapter for PhysX, again an issue as here again you'd be missing two PCI-E connectors. Sure you can hook that card up, yet you need Molex to 6-pin converters and well .. it just looks messy.

So yeah, this is definitely something that PC P&C should opt for on their next models.

Here we have the 24-pin ATX connector, another tip to PC P&C, aesthetics matter in the year 2009, it would be nice to see black colored connectors. I would hate to plug in these ugly looking things onto my 400 USD Rampage II Extreme motherboard. The chord has a nice lenght though at 50 CM / 20"

The perhiperial connectors like Molex again start at 50 CM / 20" and end at 100 CM / 39". The cabling is nice and lengthy alright.
