A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributing it more evenly throughout the entire module, and eliminating potential hot-spots. Theoretically, this should allow for better overclocking. The 5-RGB-LED crystalline bar (made of plastic) located on top of the modules should create a nice lighting effect.

The total height of the stick is about 47 mm, so not quite 44 mm/1.73 in as Patriot declares. That’s not really a low-profile module, but you still shouldn’t have problems with most air coolers. As always, we recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

The weight of the module is 48 g, so the radiator seems to be solid. The set that has been provided to us is of course an RGB one, so you need to use your motherboard’s software to control the lighting. Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync are supported. Ok, here are the final shots of this nice memory kit.
