Final Words & Conclusion

Yepper-the-yep-yep, after testing quite a bunch of GTX 560 Ti cards here in the Guru3D trenches, the conclusions on these GTX 560 boards tend to get a little repetitive, but again we like what we tested alright.

In general, you can play any modern game up-to say a monitor resolution of 1920x1200 combined with 4x Anti-aliasing and 16x Anisotropic Filtering. Power consumption isn't really an issue either, consuming roughly 170~180 Watts when it's stressed badly in a game. Mind you these are peak levels, the average power consumption will tell another story. Add features like 3D capability, CUDA and PhysX. Then overall you'll notice that the GTX 560 Ti series really does offer a lot.

Let's breakdown the card tested, the GTX 560 Sonic is a sweet little card. The cooling is made for one thing, good cooling performance versus low noise levels. And that's where this card kicks ass big-time. Granted though, its not very different from reference results but hey, we always like to see different stuff, as long as it works well of course. The card can hardly be heard really. For a product with Sonic in the name we see a nice factory overclock, increase towards 900 MHz is nice alright, added to that is an extra 200 MHz on the memory as well. The card after 900 MHz remains tweakable but not a lot, perhaps if you like to break records you should apply a little voltage tweaking, but remember ... officially, that is not supported.

guru3d-recommended_150px.jpgThe Palit GeForce GTX 560 Ti Sonic is a very decent and impressive product, the performance is nice which will match pricing hopefully. Just don't pay more than say 239 EUR for this card, otherwise the GTX 570 would be a more logical choice in weaponry. And yes, prices have dropped a bit already over the introduction price for sure.

A thumbs up from us to Palit,it is a nice, fast and silent product highly worthy of a recommendation from Guru3D.com, you surely can play any game to date very nicely at a very reasonable price.
