OCZ PSU

Graphics card wise with our tested 1000W model you get to play with six 6+2 Pin PCIe PEG connectors, plenty enough for three beefy graphics cards. We see superbly sleeved cabling with dark colored connectors. Unfortunately the PCIe PEG 6/8 connectors are colored red. All black would have been the way to go. But yeah, that's an excellent design + the cables definitely have a proper nice length as well.

Connectors wise you'll have:

  • 1 x 20+4-pin ATX
  • 2 x 4+4-pin ESP/12V CPU
  • 6 x 6+2-pin PCIe
  • 8 x 4-pin Peripheral
  • 12 x 5-pin SATA
  • 2 x Floppy

Mind you that this is for the 1000W model. Connectors differ with wattage.

Once powered on you'll notice two thing, the sheer silence and a red glow emanating from the PSU. The fan has a red colored LED.

It's time to do some preliminary testing though and hook it up towards a PC. We'll be firing off 4 GPUs at the PSU today.
