At the top side we spot quite a few things. To the left we spot the huge 200mm fan, which can be regulated with the internal digital fan controller. To the right a large mesh with space to mount another fan or hey .. your liquid cooling solution of course.
At the other side on top, we can see that fan controller. You'll have access to four fan configurations allowing them to spin at your preferred RPM. This is a great feature.
The controller allows for 15 watts per channel and has LED indicators that progressively gets brighter on high speeds and dimmer for low settings. You can also see a microphone, and audio jack here.
On the opposing side we can see some more Frontpanel I/O functionality, missing here is eSATA, which slowly seems to become a thing of the past, you do get Dual USB 3.0 and quad USB 2.0 connectors. So that's six USB headers, me likey.
Looking at the backside we are once again impressed. At the rear of the Phantom 820 we see openings for the I/O panel, power supply and nine expansion slots (!)
Nearby to the I/O panel opening is 120mm exhaust fan with below it four rubber grommet covered liquid cooling holes (for tubing). Fairly identical to most modern enthusiast cases, the power supply is located at the bottom compartment.
That top rear fan BTW is movable, so you can position it just right for optimal cooling conditions.
