As always the packaging is what we will deal with first, everything is packaged, cushioned and bundled safely in the box. Let's rip 'er open though.

Once unboxed you'll spot the liquid cooling unit consisting out of the radiator, fan, tubing, pump/cooling block. Most pre-fitted and ready to use of course. Basically you will need to install/mount the fans and a bracket to secure the unit. But you know what, you are visiting Guru3D.com, so we'll show you that all over the next few pages. I've always wondered why these coolers are packaged in this type of carton, and suddenly it hit me. If (and the chances are extremely slim here) an LCS would leak, that packaging would absorb the coolant, plain and simple.

You'll spot a backplate that supports a wide variety of CPU sockets. Intel LGA 115x, 1366, 2011 and AMD AM2, AM3, AM4, FM1, FM2 based processors can be used in combination with this cooler. Threadripper TR4 is supported, however, the compatible bracket is not included.

 Included are:

  • Liquid CPU Cooler
  • Multi-platform mounting kit for all modern CPU sockets
  • Two High-Performance Fans
  • USB / HUB / Power Cable
  • Fan and radiator mounting screws
  • Thermal compound (pre-applied)
  • Quick Start Guide

So summed up, once unboxed you'll spot the cooling unit consisting of the radiator assembly, fan and brackets + backplate that support a very wide range of AMD and Intel processors. A little thermal paste is pre-applied on the cooler for you.

Here we have the unit and pump with LED lighting unit, we'll need to mount the two-variable PWM fans (140mm). Both fans are not to be connected to a fan controller or motherboard, no longer are they CAM connected though the pump cables, which we find very unfortunate.
