Right, let's get this review started. First off, packaging, so you know what to look for in the stores of course. Well, it can't be any clearer that we have the right box.
So, currently at the time of writing this article if you purchase the Shield Android TV through Nvidia you'll receive the Shield remote for free as well (worth 45 bucks). It is a super handy remote to navigate, very much recommended even if not included.
Once we open the box we stumble into the console unit, it is packaged with care and the more sensitive areas are plastic wrapped, which you can easily peel off.
Once you take out the console unit and a few mini-manuals the lower compartment will show the wireless and chargeable controller, as well as HDMI/USB cables and a power adapter.
In total this is what the bundle will look like. In the next pages we'll go into a little more detail per item. You can see already that the kit is tailored for some gaming with a console quality game controller included.
