Hey everyone. Finally ... not a graphics card review :) In the upcoming weeks we'll shift the focus a little onto other hardware, as we have been writing graphics cards reviews for months now. So until something special happens, be on the lookout for some cool hardware reviews. One of the reviews on my long to-do list is a very simple product; a cooler fan. It doesn't sound important now, does it? Well, think again. Today's PC's are hot in many ways and they need sufficient cooling. Providing sufficient cooling really is not an issue ... yet keeping the noise levels down; that's a real challenge.

Personally I hate, seriously hate, the noise levels PCs make these days. In my work, PC's have been passively water-cooled, with passive cooled mainboard. So yes, the only thing I hear coming from these PCs is the noise of the PSU fan and the HDs. And that already is too loud in my opinion.

This is why Guru3D will focus, with a couple of product reviews, on silent cooling techniques. Today we'll chat about an all German product, yet available everywhere. The company is BlackNoise; the product is the Cool Scraper (rev 2.0), which we'll test with a variety of fans to see how silent and performance effective this product is.

With exceptional looks, let's have a look at the Cool Scraper 120 revision 2.0, before we begin with the actual review, as usual guided with photos to show you the installation processes.
