Testing The Coolers with a Tweaked Threadripper 1950X

Let's have a look at the results for the system in its an overclocked state, we apply a multiplier of 40 at ALL 16 CORES, and then add a beefy fixed 1.38v to the processor. Below, the IDLE temperatures, thus your processor is doing barely anything to nothing. Just sitting and waiting in your system.

As you can see, all good and fine really. We measure in a 20~21 Degrees C ambient room temperature. Ambient temperatures do affect the cooling performance, albeit a little bit.

Once overclocked, the temps jump up fast and hard. Surprisingly the U14S does manage well at ~ 82 degrees. You do need to wonder whether or not you want your 1000 USD processor to run at such temps though. Overall decent results, remember this is a 16-core part here.We use the AIDA stress test and enable CPU, FPU, and Cache as the stress factor. That should be plenty enough to give the CPU a nice burn-in.
