Performance dGPU: Tomb Raider | Bioshock Infinite

For future CPU and motherboard reviews, we'll be adding two new games in 720P and 1080P as well measured on a dedicated graphics card. Starting with this review we have moved on-wards towards a new graphics card, the GeForce GTX 780 Ti. This page for now is just a placeholder for future results. You can however check out the overclocking differential of course.

Now the GeForce GTX 780 Ti is our baseline and standard graphics card we test and compare with.

We test BioShock Infinite at:

  • DirectX 11
  • Ultra Quality mode with DDOD enabled
  • FXAA enabled

Please understand that in previous articles we tested with a Geforce GTX 580, and since we have moved on-wards to the GeForce GTX 780 Ti we have very little results to show you. However we did test at Z87 as well and as you can see, the performance benefit is nominal to say at the least. So to be clear what you are looking at, all results are the GTX 780 Ti as comparison.

This particular test has the following enabled:

  • DX11
  • Ultra Quality mode
  • FX AA enabled
  • 16x AF enabled
  • Hair Quality Normal (TressFX disabled)
  • Tessellation On
  • SSAO Ultra

For Tomb raider we see that with a GTX 780 Ti the platform performs just as well as it's brothers.
