Right, SATA ports -- MSI is equipping the board with a good six SATA ports. All of them come from the Intel PCH and that makes all of these ports SATA 3 and thus 6 GBps capable. At ther rear IO there's also two eSATA connectors powered by an ASmedia controller.

Here we can see socket 1150 for haswell grade Intel processors. We can spot 8 power phases, add to that another 2 for the memory subsystem.

You will spot two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, working really well. Bare in mind though that on a 24x24 CM based motherboard where space is an issue. You will get four DIMM slots offer support for dual-channel DDR3 memory up to even 3000 MHz. You can install a maximum of 32GB in total. XMP is fully supported, we'll show you this little critter running at 2400 MHz by just flicking a BIOS option.

Mini ATX boards, who doesn't love them. MSI really created this 24cm Form factor PCB and loaded it with features, and made sure it looks nice as well. As small as it is, this is high-end... even enthusiast grade hardware. We'll load the processor (4770K) up with some liquid cooling and we'll show you that this petite bit of hardware can run the Core i7 4770K at 4800 Mhz stable on all cores.

Next to your standard buttons MSI also integrated OC Genie button. We simply pressed the OC Genie button on the motherboard and our Core i7 4770K processor was overclocked to 4200 MHz. We wonder if there is anybody that actually uses the OC Genie button ?
