With CeBIT 2012 in vicinity MSI is allowing us to show you some pictures of their upcoming Z77A-GD65.
Now we got the OK for this photo preview moments ago as a direct result of some NDA breaches from two USA websites.
The MSI Z77A-GD65 is intended for Intels 22nm processors that will be coming out later this year based on Socket LGA1155 however the motherboard also supports Sandy bridge processors like the Core i7 2600K.
While we are not allowed to publish any testing results whatsoever related to Ivy Bridge, on this MSI Z77A-GD65, we are able to give you a closer look at the motherboard itself. Have a peek at what is about to launch next month, this is the MSI Z77A-GD65 'Ivy Bridge' ready Motherboard.
The MSI Z77A-GD65 certainly is a good looking motherboard alright. the traditional black blue style, new cooling heatsinks. yeah it's a pretty thing to see.
The I/O panel of the MSI Z77A-GD65 has two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports with another four USB 2.0 ports. The motherboard features three PCIe x16 Gen 3.0 expansion slots and four PCIe x1 slots.
A Realtek ALC898 high definition audio codec is the source for audio, and we spot an Intel 82579V 10/100/1000 fast Ethernet controller. Nice.
There is a single PS/2 combo port that can be used for either a keyboard or mouse, optical and coaxial SPDIF out ports, HDMI, 15pin D-Sub VGA, DVI, Gigabit LAN (Intel 82579V) and a Clear CMOS Button for us overclockers and tweakers. Next page please.
