In that corner the rotary knob. This is an interesting one and is called the Game Boost Knob. The know allows you to manually select a stage from 0 to 11 for overclocking your processor. So increasing this know will increase the processor frequency and the cool thing is, the voltage will be automatically adjusted as well. You power off the PC, rotate the know to your preference and then start the PC.

The audio solution is hidden right under the front side of the PCIe slots and based on a Realtek ALC 1220 CODEC and a combination of Nahimix 2 software suite. You can spot Nichicon audio grade Fine Gold capacitors. Nichicon Fine Gold capacitors are suited for high-grade audio equipment to provide rich sound in the bass and clearer high frequencies. There's little else to say really, the audio solution is fine.

Check the heatsinks, pretty cool design. Take note of the metal covers on the three primary x16 PCI-Express slots as well as the DIMM slots now also. They provide sturdier and stronger slots, handy for very heavy graphics cards.

A 4- and 8-pin connector to power that processor of yours, just using the 8-pin connector it plenty though, in fact using just one 4-pin would do the job already. The motherboard has a 10+2 Phase Power delivery design for the processor based on digital power controllers. MSI, as always, follows their stringent component selection, now dubbed as Military Class revision V.
