At the lower edge of the MSI X299 M7 ACK we see the header, front panel connectors, and OC knob etc. and if we zoom in a tiny bit:

Yes, there are some micro buttons available to be able to power on and reset directly from the motherboard. There's also a demo LED button, if you use the board's mystic light features (RGB LEDs) it will demo several colors and animations on the fly. Below the two micro buttons, you can see the VROC (VRAID) key connector and the micro-switch above it is intended as a BIOS switch, plain and simple.

The MSI X299 M7 ACK motherboard boasts an LED system in combination with their Mystic light App, RGB strips are now supported as well.

So here we can spot the PCI-Express slots a bit better. These are configured as:

  • 4 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots
    • Support x16/ x4/ x16/ x8 mode with the 44-lane CPU.
    • Support x16/ x4/ x8/ x0, x8/ x4/ x8/ x8 modes with the 28-lane CPU.
    • Support x8/ x0/ x8/ x0, x8/ x4/ x4/ x0 modes with the 16-lane CPU.
  • • 2 x PCIe 3.0 x1 slots

Again, your choice in processor will define how many PCI-Express lanes you'll get, currently only the Core i9 7900 will support a full 44 lane configuration.
