The Radeon RX 6900 and 6950 XT features 5120 active stream/Shader processors, whereas the 6800 features 3840. This card does indeed return to us with a maximum Turbo clock speed of 2454 MHz. The BIOS supports fan stop in idle mode, which means the card is passive (no fans spinning) while not in use, which results in a perfectly silent device. The card is just over 32cm long and 14cm tall.

MSI claims that the outer ring design directs airflow into the heatsink by connecting pairs of blades. The deflectors on the fin stack are supposed to increase airflow dynamics. These deflectors increase the surface area and direct the air to where it is most required. MSI further claims that the wave-curved 2.0 fin edges reduce noise by disrupting undesired airflow noise.

MSI's RX 6950 XT Gaming X Trio features the Tri Frozr 2 heatsink. Six heat pipes are squared off where they make contact with the GPU die in the 2.7-slot design. This flattening improves thermal performance by increasing the contact area. This cooling solution increases the card's dimensions to 324 x 141 x 55 mm and increases its weight to 1576 grams.

RGB LEDs can be found in three lines across the middle fan, a strip along the top, and the MSI brand and gaming dragon, which are illuminated on top. The colors are vibrant and rich. The Gaming Trio X should be able to blend in with most build themes. The MSI RX 6950 XT Gaming X Trio also features an aluminum backplate emblazoned with the MSI Gaming Dragon for heat dissipation and PCB protection.
