Alright, drum-roll, there she is; the cards, we received the 8 GB version, I think a 4GB version is available for the 570 as well. The card has been fitted with a heat pipe design cooler. It has one PCIe PEG power connector (8-pin). The graphics card is a good match for Full HD gaming, up-to 1080P but also is capable at 2560x1440 (Wide)Quad HD. The PCB is colored matte black with the cooler that matches that theme. MSI makes use of thick heat pipes which lower the temperature and increase performance when compared to narrower 6mm ones.

The prices due to the mining craze are still at launch level, roughly 299 USD / 329 EUR with 8GB of graphics memory for the RX 580 and roughly 239 USD / 269 EUR with 8GB of graphics memory for the RX 570. Obviously, there's a lot to check out other than performance in a review, we'll have a peek at PCB heat levels, GPU temperatures as well as noise levels.

This Radeon RX 570/580 is armed with 8 GB graphics memory which will be clocked at 7.0 (RX570) and 8.0 Gbps (RX580)  / 256-bit to give you a little more leash with the higher resolutions and image quality settings. The reference clocked product will run with clock frequencies up to 1257 MHz on its 2304 shader processors with a 1340 Boost, these models come clocked in at a 1281 and 1380 MHz boost at default out of the box settings respectively.

As you can see, a completely closed backplate, I so dislike that as it'll trap heat significantly. No proper spaces or vents. MSI went solely for the aesthetics.

This Polaris 20/Ellesmere GPU based product has been designed to be a match for the most popular Full HD and Wide Quad HD resolutions. Actually, it places a strong focus on 1440P gaming. MSI fits the card with two HDMI (2.0b), two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors as well as one DVI connector.
