MSI Radeon HD 7850 Power Edition OC review -
Product Showcase
Connectivity wise for monitor outputs we see a four-fold of connectors supporting all high-resolution monitors. We get two display port connectors (mini), HDMI (1.4) and one dual-link DVI connector.
The Twinfrozr revision IV cooler we find to be very good. It looks good, is really silent and keeps the temperature well under control as our tests later on will show you.
The board's overall power consumption from idle to load is slightly higher than reference. Expect an idle wattage of roughly 10 Watts and, when the monitor goes into power save mode, the card throttles down even lower to 3 Watts. We measured the TDP for the 7850 at roughly 100~110 Watts for the card tested today.
The 7850 utilizes one 6-pin power connector, a 500~550W PSU would be sufficient. Overall a good looking card.
