MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 2GB

The card comes with two DisplayPort 1.2 connectors, one HDMI 1.4a connector and two DVI connectors of which one is single (up-to monitor resolution 1920x1200) and the other dual-link (2560x1600 and even higher).

HDMI has been updated to the latest version 1.4a and adds support for the two mandatory 3-D format (Side-by-Side Horizontal & Top-and-Bottom), which was dropped from the original 1.4 version. So supported are all the new 3D TVs and, for the geeks, the new HDMI Frame packing format.

If you count along with me, five connectors, up-to four can be used in Eyefinity mode with one card. Small tip - if you have a very high resolution monitor at 2560x1600 and connect your card to the single link connector, your resolution could end up as low as 1280x1024 or something close as your minitor misses half the needed bandwidth/signal. Hence you should use the dual-link connector to have the full 2560x1600 resolution available. This of course only applies to the two DVI connectors. Any FullHD, or monitor up-to 1920x1200 can run off single link DVI connectors.

The Twin Frozer III we feel is much better than the Twin Frozer II model . The card can be heard while you are gaming intensely, but is not at all noisy and the actual cooling performance is just really good. You can expect to see a maximum temperature of give or take 60~65 Degrees C under hefty gaming load.
