The GeForce GTX 465 comes with two dual-link DVI connectors supporting all high-resolution monitors and all the way to the left you can see a mini HDMI connector. Mini HDMI was chosen to be able to position the connector at the lower half, so that the top half can exhaust hot air. MSI supplies a special HDMI converter for this.

No more S/PDIF pass-through cables btw, audio is now routed over the PCIe bus allowing native audio over the HDMI connector thanks to an updated video processor inside the GPU (VP4).

The GTX 465 needs only two 6-pin PCIe PEG connectors, and for power supply demands, we'd advise a regular 500~550W PSU.

The card also comes with two SLI fingers allowing up-to 3-way SLI . It might look like the cooler is blocking the SLI fingers but this is not the case. It'll be a tight fit though.

Here we zoom in a little at the GPU position, we can see five thick fat heat pipes get together at the GPU block. Compared to the previous model the Twin Frozr II design does seem to work out much better.

Okay, last photo before we'll startup some preliminary tests on power consumption, heat and noise levels. This card certainly has a sturdy looking design alright, very nice.
