With this 570X board, MSI outs a high-end product, PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes, available just for your graphics solution. VRM is based on real phases (6+2), PWM-Controller: IR35201 (max. 8 phases), on the MOSFETs we note down 12x 60A IR3555 and MOSFETs SoC 2x 60A IR3555.
The motherboard includes all of the standardized X570 chipset options with three full-speed PCIe Gen 4.0 M.2 SSD slots; it is SLI and Crossfire compatible as well, one x16 slot (configured as Gen 4 x16 on the first slot, if a second slot is used you'll split the lanes in Gen 4 x8). The board follows the E-ATX Form Factor.
1x USB-C 3.1 (CPU), 1x USB-A 3.1 (CPU), 2x USB-A 3.1 (X570), 2x USB-A 3.0, 2x USB-A 2.0, 1x 2.5GBase-T (Realtek RTL8125AG), 5x jack, 1x toslink, 1x PS/2 Combo
The board comes with two 8-pin power connectors, don't worry, you can use just a single 8-pin. There NO LED enablement. The board has 3 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, and the lower one that looks like an x16 slot, in fact, is a 1x PCIe 4.0/3.0 x16 slot (PCI_E4, supports x4 mode). All can be arranged in these slot configurations with graphics cards:
- x16/x0/x0
- x8/x0/x8
- x8/x4/x4
- Again, the lower x16 slot is x4 linked to the chipset.
As you can see, these are PCI Express Gen 4.0 configurations, that's plenty for regular graphics card setups up-to 2-way SLI/Crossfire. You'll get four DIMM slots that can be used for up to 128GB of dual-channel memory on Ryzen 3000. With regular Ryzen procs, up-to 3200 MHz is supported in OC mode, with the new Ryzen 3000 models 5000 MHz, however something at 3200CL14 to 3600 Cl16 we recommend. For Ryzen 5000, you can go up-to 4000 MHz before the IF limiter kicks in. Please do check compatible memory and thus the QVL (Qualified Vendors Lists).
