The SUPRIM X features a nice, elegant design that conceals a strong, cooler construction. The design includes some new elements, such as a modernised TRI FROZR cooler, although the fans are based on the most recent TORX FAN v5.0 design. The rear is fascinating since it exposes an aluminium backplate, which should passively transport heat away from the card. There is no longer a Dragon logo, but there is a beautiful Suprim logo.

For this review, we use an AIB partner card. GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has 12 GB of GDDR6X memory that works at 21 Gbps offering 504 GB/sec of memory bandwidth. On the following pages, we will go into more detail about the product's features.  The hardware of the SUPRIM X has been improved in every way. There are thicker copper traces (2oz) inside the PCB, and the cooler's outside is composed of brushed aluminium with neatly carved edges. The dual BIOS is set to Silent mode by default. The performance BIOS option can be activated for added thermal performance, making the product run "cooler." The difference, as described on the previous page, is not in performance. Instead, it is in the fan profile, which allows you to select whether you want a product that runs quietly or quietly.

The ADA series will replace the Ampere lineup, which will be phased out of the market as these cards are priced similarly but are significantly quicker. Where GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was equipped with 10240 stream/Shader processors, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti kicks in at 7680 shading cores whilst being significantly faster.

This sculpted giant measures 336mm long, 140mm tall, and 71mm deep. The grey and black design should be obvious because it is largely identical to the RTX 4080 model, and MSI has done a good job of making it look fashionable despite its size, which necessitates a large 3.5-slot design weighing 2 kg and a convoluted cooling system that employs numerous materials. RGB has been modified such that it no longer defaults to rainbow colours. Instead, it now gradually fades to white. You may sync it to whatever song you choose with Mystic light software.

NVIDIA is the exclusive provider of power adapters included with RTX 40-series graphics cards, whether the Founders Edition or custom-designed boards by partners. The 12VHPWR connector has been under much scrutiny as of late; in some isolated cases, it overheated and melted. It has a lot to do with cable bending too close to the connector, user installation and perhaps poor quality control of these power connectors. We find it extremely hard to get these connectors even hot.

Despite conforming to PCIe Gen 5 specifications, the GeForce RTX 4000 series employs a PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 host interface. GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is equipped with 12 Gigabytes of GDDR6X memory, which operates at 21 Gbps (effective data rate). This provides a substantial amount of volume and bandwidth combined it's 192-bit wide memory bus.
