And here it is powered on, much like all designs, heat travels mostly upwards mostly, however, the card has one of the better front side vents with a big mesh. As we always state, chassis ventilation not just a must, with this design it's a necessity. We'll look a bit closer at that in our thermal imaging chapter though.

All AIB premium cards are on the heavy side alright. This is due to added premium cooling. The radiator surface area has increased, bringing some extra weight and sits at roughly 1.2 kg. The card does not bend, it has been reinforced, but surely it will apply lots of stress to the PCIe slot, please do opt a motherboard with PCIe slot metal reinforcement.

Size then, that's roughly 31 cm / 12.3 inches of graphics card right there. Please always do make sure that the card physically fits inside your chassis as that is a bit on the lengthy side alright. For most modern age chassis it, however, should not be an issue. Only at the top side of the card, there are minimal LEDs embedded, they can be controlled with the Mystic light engine software utility available from MSI. Likely also configurable from the MSI Gaming APP. As mentioned, you can configure it to whatever you want that to be. it's not too much at all, and I actually like this implementation.

So to reiterate, it is just this topside logo that is RGB lit, at default ina slow moving rainbow color. You like it, you leave it, you hate it you disable it. it is as simple as that, and that's where my RGB discussion ends really
