MSI GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition

Alright, here we have the MSI GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition / OC, the 2GB SKU (stock keeping unit) and its packaging. Overall a nice dark looking card some blue tones. Let's look at the card from several different viewpoints. The GTX 670 card is quite good looking with the matching colored monitor connectors and a slightly different looking cooler.

The card is equipped with the GK104 GPU that harbors the Kepler GPU architecture. You get the basics like the graphics card, PEG converter cables, manual and a demo and driver CD, though bundles will vary with AIB/AIC partners. MSI clocks the /OC model card at a 1019 MHz baseclock, a 1089 MHz Boost/Turbo clock and the memory is running at 6008 MHz. This factory tweak positions the card at the performance level of a GeForce GTX 680.

Mind you that the reference baseclock is 915 MHz, so that's quite a factory clock right there.

The MSI card will come with two GB of graphics memory, which is definitely enough if you are a hardcore gamer with a monitor resolution of 1920x1200. Should you opt multiple monitors and SLI, a 4GB version might be a slightly better alternative.

And as you can see there is room left on the PCB to double up memory. These are GDDR5 SMT solder traces next to each RAM IC. So perhaps there will be a four GB model released. This however remains unconfirmed.
