MSI Clutch GM51 Wireless mouse review -
Final words and conclusion
Final words and conclusion
The MSI Clutch GM51 Lightweight Mouse outperforms the MSI Clutch GM31 in terms of its design, features, and hardware, albeit at a higher price point. Its sleek design ensures comfortable usage, even for prolonged periods, and the RGB lighting nicely complements the rubberized grips. Although the MSI Center's mouse customization options are not as advanced as those other brands, the GM51's powerful PixArt PAW-3395 optical sensor places it in the high-end gaming mouse category. However, the mouse's unique side button design may not suit everyone. Overall, the GM51 Lightweight Mouse is an impressive device, and with improvements to the software, it could become a top contender in the market.
How good is it?
The mouse boasts a comfortable and substantial design that particularly appeals to those with larger-than-average hands. However, those with smaller hands may find it slightly cumbersome. The hardware is of excellent quality, and the mouse provides an extensive range of software options, programmable buttons and an attractive aesthetic. We encountered no lag or input issues during our testing, and the mouse is connected to a braided USB cable that is approximately 2 meters long, however wireless certainly is working great. The buttons offer satisfying feedback and an excellent response. Notably, the control software has undergone a transformation from average to good. The software is easy to use and has the ability to update the mouse firmware autonomously, which is a significant accomplishment by the software team.
Concluding
After thorough testing, I found the MSI Clutch GM51 gaming mouse to be a competitive option for those seeking high-end wireless mice. With customizable DPI and button layout options, the mouse's ergonomics comfortably cater to various grip types, enabling ease and speed of movement on the skates. Its ample PTFE feet and LightGrips enhance its nimble fingertip control, ideal for first-person shooters and other fast-paced genres. I found the mouse's sensor to be impressively responsive, and while its 26000 DPI is downright excessive and uberkill, it operates very smoothly. The Omron switches contribute to its overall high-performance capabilities, making it an ideal choice for daily work and gaming use. As someone who has reviewed several mice, I can attest that the MSI Clutch GM51 stands out with its unique RGB and charging dock features. While its cost may be a little steep for some, its extensive range of features, modes of connectivity, and long battery life make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a feature-packed, high-performing gaming mouse.

MSI Clutch GM31 Lightweight (+Wireless) mice review
This article reviews the MSI Clutch GM31 mouse in a wired and wireless edition. It’s an optical gaming mouse that was launched today, on 12.01.2023. It’s a successor of the GM30 (which had only a wired version). The Clutch GM31 series targets gamers, but it should also work more than fine as a regular mouse. This time, the optical sensor is not the 6200 DPI PMW3327 but a 12K DPI PMW-3360 in the wired version and the same DPI in PAW-3311. There is a possibility to change DPI on-the-fly, and the resolution steps are 400/800/1600/3200/6400.
