The MSI Clutch GM51 stands out for its lightweight and slim design, weighing only 85 grams and featuring MSI Diamond Lightgrips side grips for improved movement. Its ergonomic, curved form offers a comfy grip for extended periods of use, although it remains right-hand oriented, limiting accessibility for left-handed users.
The mouse's PTFE skates have high-quality, single-directional surface texture and double-cut edges, resulting in minimal friction and smooth movement across almost any desk surface. The Omron switches have a lifespan of over 60 million clicks and provide a satisfying feel when in use.
A shared USB 2.0 port for the wireless dongle and charging dongle saves valuable ports. The optional RGB lighting adds visual appeal and can be controlled via a switch that adjusts DPI levels.

The MSI dragon logo lights up, and two additional RGB zones embedded within the left and right-side rubberized grips create a honeycomb pattern that complements the style. The RGB lighting is bright and versatile, thanks to MSI's customisation of Mystic Light software, making it stand out among other RGB-lit mice we've tested.

MSI Clutch GM31 Lightweight (+Wireless) mice review
This article reviews the MSI Clutch GM31 mouse in a wired and wireless edition. It’s an optical gaming mouse that was launched today, on 12.01.2023. It’s a successor of the GM30 (which had only a wired version). The Clutch GM31 series targets gamers, but it should also work more than fine as a regular mouse. This time, the optical sensor is not the 6200 DPI PMW3327 but a 12K DPI PMW-3360 in the wired version and the same DPI in PAW-3311. There is a possibility to change DPI on-the-fly, and the resolution steps are 400/800/1600/3200/6400.
