The game graphics show you a real treat as in eye candy. Using DirectX pixel and vertex shaders, reflections on track environment were shown on your bike (if you choose a suitable color for your bike). Even your bike and rider shadows were drawn very precise and realistic. During a hot day the sun will glare your view and during rain, water drops are shown on your screen and the wet tracks reflect your bike nicely. The game also features motion blur so that you can feel how fast your bike is speeding. Although there's nowhere you can configure the sound output (beside music and effect volume) the game does give you surround sound as using my 4 speaker setup, I can hear other bikes coming from behind. The music featured in the game (more like hard rock tune to me) was also was quite nice. There also option to replace the in game music to your own tune in the game, but it require you to use Ogg Vorbis music format. You can read the game readme files on how to do it.

Notice how the wet track reflect your bike.

For multiplayer, I was only able to test several LAN session with with my friends PC. After I create a session, my friend just typed in my IP address in session search and found the game that I hosted. There's no flaw about this game's LAN multiplayer option. Leaving your friend to eat your dust or watch them crash (my friend never play this game before and he just pick a 4 stroke Honda cause he thought faster was better) was almost as fun as frag them in a CounterStrike session. If only I had a fast internet connection at home maybe I can try to race over internet once or twice but too bad since I don't have the DSL luxury like what I got at the office.

Since there's no proper bike controller for PC games (like joystick and throttle for flight simulation and steering wheel for racing games), your option is to use keyboard or any game controllers you hook to your PC. You can assign any keys or buttons to each action in the game. So far I never had any problems or found any bugs while playing this game. Run flawlessly on my PC, even on my friends GeForce2 MX powered PC.

MotoGP 2 is very good and fun to play, I recommend it to any PC gamers that loves racing games. But this ain't a game for those who don't have patience though, except at rookie difficulty level, you have to play hard to win. Well, that all I can tell you right now cause I'm going back to play this game. Below are some more screenshots.
