CPU-Z Screenshots
And here we have CPU-Z screenshots of the processor(s) seated, armed, ready, and waiting for some load, let's have a peek. So, that's all looking alright. If interested, you can download CPU-Z here.
Ryzen 7 4800U (Renoir) uses a full die, which's an 8 core CPU (ZEN2) with 16 threads. You can check it, 8MB of L3 cache and clock speeds up to 4.2 GHz in a low-thread boost state. The base clock of 1.8 GHz is lower than other parts, as AMD needs to fit 8 cores into a 15W TDP rating. The GPU is holding 8 Vega compute units (512 Shader processors) clocking in at 1750 MHz. We can see that Kingston DDR4 memory is used and of course fetch data on the processor. The Ryzen 7 4800U really is AMD’s top-of-the-line APU normally intended for lightweight laptops aka ultrabooks.
