I didn't want to peal it off, but underneath that glued foam is the RAID controller, a Marvell 9100 series.

As you can see clearly, the two PCBs are connected towards on top of once controller board. Each SSD partition of the four of them has 8 20nm Micron NAND flash ICs tied to them. The two top PCBs are the SSDs, the lenghty one is simply the RAID controller board.
