So, I went to Staples because I was in need of a new keyboard because the dog chewed my old keyboards wire. They had wireless stuff there, I wanted to go wireless just for the geeky factor and for when I lug my pc out to the living room I don’t have to worry about the dog knocking my stuff over when she trips over the cords or if she decides to chew something again (crackhead dog).

What they had at Staples was the wireless duo but I didn’t think it was the one paired with the MX 700 mouse, the sales guy didn’t push it or explain it more either so I ended up with a Microsoft Multimedia Natural, don’t get me wrong it’s a decent keyboard.. I was actually going there to see if they had Microsoft’s Bluetooth enabled Keyboard+Mouse, not to buy it but just to look. Bluetooth’s range is around 3ft or something like that. And not to mention probably way more expensive and I don’t really know how responsive the mouse would be, plus the fact that I’d have to get a Bluetooth adaptor on top of the price of the combo. Besides they didn’t carry it anyways...as a matter of fact I don't think anyone does yet. I also had a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer V3.0.

Again, a really good optical mouse.

Then one day at work one of the guys brought in a Staples flyer, I thumbed through it and sure enough there was the Wireless MX Duo with the 700MX mouse for like $145+tax (give or take a few dollars). “Oh Man!” I said, so then I thought well I’ll see what it’s like online for this thing. Sure enough I saved about $30-40 going through Vibe Computers. The only thing that sucks about shopping online is the waiting for your stuff to arrive. You could get faster shipping but then you aren’t saving very much, if anything most times.
