Final Words & Conclusion

Conclusion

The reviewed LCS kit performed very well and handled both tested processors, including the Core i9 9900K at 5 GHz. The 120 mm fans are relatively quiet (the idle noise could have been lower). At maximum rpm, the cooler is loud (1900 rpm) but usually, it’s not necessary to go so high. It’s possible to set a less noisy fan curve – if sheer silence is desired.

Aesthetics & Design

Starting with the aesthetics, the Galahad 360 looks great. The LEDs are not only on the pump head but also on the fans – that’s a good-looking solution. There is also the option to install a cover to hide the Lian Li logo, and the pump head can be rotated in 90 degrees steps. The wiring looks reasonable (thanks to the y-splitters), and there are not too many cables, so it was rather easy to manage it all properly. The tubes are sleeved, they bend quite well, and additionally, they’re long enough (40 cm) even for larger systems. Installation is not time-consuming, and it’s rather easy, so most (or all?) users should manage without any problems. As for the AMD system, it was easy as well, and you don’t even need to switch the backplate or the plastic stands on the motherboard. We also appreciate the bundled RGB controller for the lighting, which comes in handy if your motherboard doesn’t have any RGB headers.

The Verdict

The Lian Li Galahad 360 costs 149 USD. We think that it’s a very reasonable offer, and it’s well worth the money. If you are looking for a liquid cooler with lots of RGB functionality, you might want to consider the Lian Li Galahad 360. The performance is great, the idle noise levels could be better. It could have been a bit quieter under load as well, but all-in-all it’s really good. The Galahad 360’s pump design with the RGB lighting and logo that can be concealed and rotated in 90-degrees steps make this product an appealing offer. The cables are long enough, and you also get a separate RGB controller (if you don’t want to use your RGB motherboard’s system). There’s a 5-year warranty here as well. All things considered, we surely can recommend this product.
