The cooler is the traditional design that is bwing used on the GTX 560 as well. It's really silent and quite effective as you'll learn. You can unscrew the cover and if needed clean out dust from the inside.

With a rated TDP of 116W the card will not consume heaps of power, however since the PCIe bus is only allowed to feed 75W another power connector is needed, hence the 6-pin PCIe PEG power connector.
Here we see something unusual, the card come with two 6-pin PEG power connectors, Voltage regulation wise the board has been equipped with the Volterra VT1185M (main controller) + VT1157SF (integrated MOSFET + Driver).
