Today's sample that we are testing comes from these fine people at Inno3D.

The product we test today of course is somewhat more expensive due to the Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo Pro cooler but the etail price won't be far off 150 USD really.

First impression, the card looks good. Proper design, but the cooler is huge for a mid-range product as it will eat away no less than 3 slots. In return you do get brilliant cooling (demonstrated later on) and a completely inaudible cooling solution. So yeah, it's a bit of a tradeoff size wise, but you gain a lot back.

The cooler is heatpipe based and one of the most silent models we have ever tested. Under the hood we'll find a G92b chip, the GeForce 9800 GTX+ aka GTS 250. Inno3D set its clock frequencies to 756 MHz on the core, 1836 MHz on the shader domain and 2232 MHz on the memory. Overall a tiny overclock, but too little to make a difference really. For the money however, you do get to play around with no less than 1024MB GDDR3 video memory and that AC based cooler.

Bundled with the product you'll find:

  • GeForce GTS 250 1024 MB
  • Driver CD
  • 6-pin to Molex power cable
  • Manual / quick install guide
  • VGA->DVI dongle
  • Svideo cable
  • Far Cry 2 Full Game
  • Warmonger Full game

Not exactly an extensive bundle, but all the basics are included, the additional value is to be found in customization (cooler).

The product bundle as always is really good, everything needed is inside the box and we even see two full games bundled, lovely. Warranty wise you are pretty save as well as the iChill series are covered by a three year warranty (carry in).
