Connectivity wise for monitor outputs we see a four-fold of connectors supporting all high-resolution monitors. We get two display port connectors (mini), HDMI (1.4) and one dual-link DVI connector. We see this configuration on pretty much all the Radeon HD 7800 series graphics cards.

The cooler we find to be quite good. Though the looks are a little iffy, it however is reasonably noise wise  and keeps the temperature well under control as our tests later on will show you.

The board's overall power consumption from idle to load is higher than reference, but that's due to the pretty extensive factory overclock towards 1 GHz (which needs a bit more voltage). Expect an idle wattage of roughly 10 Watts and, when the monitor goes into power save mode, the card throttles down even lower to 3 Watts. We measured the TDP for the 7850 at roughly 150 Watts for the card tested today.

The 7850 utilizes one 6-pin power connector, a 500~550W PSU would be sufficient. Interestingly enough the PCB shows the pins for another 6-pin connector yet it isn't installed.

And for those at wonder, this is what the PCB looks like once we remove the heatsink, here you can also see the extra 6-pins for another connector.
