Welcome to Guru3D's Rig of the Month !

We just adore PC related hardware & think you do too. And sometimes you guys really make a PC that really stands out. We ask you to answer a few simple questions and send in photos of your rig. Each month we'll have a look at the entries and perhaps pick you and post your PC with photos and everything here at Guru3D.com. Here you can find out what you need to do and win a nice prize courtesy of Corsair.

Guru3D Rig of the Month is sponsored by Corsair

Each month one winner walks away with a cool prize. This month we give away a platinum certified Corsair HX750i power supply. The power supply is rather extraordinary in performance and its Platinum 80 plus certification, the one massive 63 Amp 12-volts says it all really. Superb for mainstream to high-end and even multi-GPU solutions. Corsair also embeds their LINK technology into the PSU. That means you can monitor the PSU with the help of software, things like PSU efficiency, power usage or simply to adjust the fan RPM. The winner also receives a fully sleeved cable kit (cables + 24 pin).

Note - This competition runs world-wide, however due to complex delivery and customs issues Russia, South America and Africa will not be shipped a prize, instead Corsair will give you a 100 USD consolidation prize as compensation. We also cannot ship to conflict zones. That said, let's do some modding !

Each month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows.

A man and his Build

As Guru3D forum regular Alec has built himself a PC worthy of being called, the Rig OF the Month October. His PC is called XOSKEL and is based upon the In Win D-Frame Mini, with a tweak or two of course. The end result, if you ask us is impressive, very impressive.

1. What is your name / nickname /age / occupation?

My name is Alec (Alec**), I’m 20, and I’m studying Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester.

2. What did you first come here for?

I signed up to the forums back in 2008 to learn more about hardware and overclocking.

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

Mostly University work as well as some multimedia editing.
