7. Why AMD or NVIDIA, why Intel or AMD?

During my most active system building era, Nvidia was definitely king, so I probably have a bias towards Nvidia because of this experience. Back then at one point I owned a Compaq Presario 4800, which came with AMD ATI Radeon graphics, and it was a nightmare dealing with it when trying to install Linux on it, as there were absolutely no drivers available of any kind for it. So historically Nvidia had been, to me, better at providing, updating and quickly developing drivers. Today, however, the story is a bit different. I tell you guys, that if I had the chance of building this system from scratch, I would for sure go all AMD specs, threadripper and now the new Radeon Vii's. But for now, Nvidia will still own me, and plus I am very familiar with Nvidia, their drivers, and how to modify them, which I had to do for my Alienware laptop to work with the 980 cards.

8. Does your PC live up to your expectations?

Yes it does, I love using it, to me it's a dream come true that was long overdue, but was worth the wait these past 15 years! It really has several personalities, it can be all chilled and mellow, yet have absolutely no hesitation, then it can turn into a "sport" mode, or all out "savage beast" mode, haha. On the beast mode all LED's turn red also!
