4. How much money did you spend on the rig as it is right now?

I think if I try to sum it all up it wouldn't be fun anymore. Until this year I was always trying to do "budget" type of builds but I've finally realized that it isn't working and I end up spending more that if I bought the proper stuff in the first place, so now I tend to rather "overdo" my builds for a change

5. How often do you update/buy a new rig?

Recently quite often, within last year that's the 3rd rig I've built with most of the stuff being new.

7. Why ATI or NVIDIA, why Intel or AMD?

NVIDIA because they have working 3D solution and I just love it - also because SLI scales better than Crossfire and it will be crucial in 3D Surround.

Intel purely because of the amazing horsepower and OC capabilities of their processors. Very recently I've upgraded to i7 980X, but before I've had i7 920 OC'd to 4.2ghz @ just 1.28v which was just amazing - also in the value department.
