4. How much money did you spend on the rig as it is right now?

I spent about $1200 on it (a year ago), I would buy pieces as they went on sale (a lot cheaper that way).

5. How often do you update/buy a new rig?

I haven't upgraded anything since I put it into the tank. But I am thinking about adding a second solid state to run in RAID.

6. What components are used?

Motherboard: EVGA X-58 Processor: Intel i7 920 overclocked to 3.7 ( I have gotten to 4.6 (stable), I just didn't like how hot it ran plus no real need to run at that)
RAM: Corsair Dominator 6GB
Harddrives: - Internal OCZ Vertex Series 60GB (mainly OS and another little software programs - External 2 Western Digital Black 1TB running in RAID 0 connected via eSATA in the NexStar MX Enclosure (a little loud)
Video Cards: 2 GeForce GTX 260 XXX Edition working in SLI
Power Supply: CoolMax Green Power 950Watts with extreme modification done to it
Heatsink: Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme with Scythe DFS123812-3000 "ULTRA KAZE" fan (this thing is a beast)
Fish Tank: Eclispe 6 (6 gallon solid plastics tank) Glass wont work b/c at the corner the glue/epoxy use will be eaten away by the mineral oil over time Pump: Koolance Pump w/ 10mm BarbsRadiator: MagiCool Xtreme Quad 480 Radiator with 4 Scythe S-FLEX 120mm Case Fan (they are so quiet)

Top Tray: Acrylic Motherboard Tray to hold everything up Fluid: 6 Gallons Oil Mineral (Funny but true fact, oil mineral is used as a mild laxative. It is mainly used with horses to clean their inside out, got me why! It is really only found in feed stores. So think about when I go up to a sales person and ask, "can I have 6 gallons of this mild laxative, please." I get some real funny looks. On top of which I had to go to multiple feed stores b/c most of the time each store had only one or two gallons of it.)

Accessories: Little other brackets and and supports that I built. It does have bluetooth so I can pair it to my home theater receiver and my phone. For keyboard and mouse I have the Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard (That way I can sit on the coach and be looking at the projector screen and not have to be within 3ft of the computer.

7. Why ATI or NVIDIA, why Intel or AMD?

I have always been a NVIDIA guy. And then Intel. The i7 had just come out and it was badass. Just amazing for overclocking.
