Welcome to Guru3D's Rig of the Month !

We just adore hardware. And sometimes some you guys really make a PC that really stands out. We ask you to answer a few simple questions and send in photo's of your rig. Each month we'll have a look at the entries and perhaps pick you and post your PC with photo's and everything here at Guru3D.com Here you can find out what you need to do and win a great prize brought to you with the courtesy of OCZ Technology.

Guru3D Rig of the Month is sponsored by Corsair

Each Month One Winner walks away with a cool prize. Starting 2014 the winner of the months Rig of the Month will two prizes delivered at their doorsteps compliments of Corsair. This round we'll award the winner a Corsair Obsidian 250D and a Corsair Hydro H75 Liquid cooling kit. If you want to build a Mini ITX system without sacrificing expansion, flexibility, or performance, the Obsidian Series 250D is your answer. Though it’s small on the outside, the 250D has room for standard components like a full-size 5.25” optical drive, a full-length GPU, a 240mm radiator, and even a full-size ATX power supply. The sleek aluminum front fascia provides the striking yet subtle design that Obsidian Series cases are known for, and a top window gives you a close-up view of your high-performance components. The 250D is a great choice if you want full size performance in a small space. Would you like to learn more about the Obsidian 250D, you can read the Guru3D review right here.

Each month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows.

The Man and his Build

The Guru3D Rig of the Month January 2014 was made by Luciel Campbell, in the past he already won a prize and that drove him towards his latest creation, called APASF. His entry for this round was actually used in a sponsored competition, hence we wanted to exclude it first. But judging the results, we just could not leave Luciel out of the competition.

He has made a LAN box beyond believe with a modest steam-punk style. Actually, come to think of it, it maybe a little weird to look at really but it certainly is something unusual and beautiful, his rig called "APASF aka Campus Party Europe 2013 London Edition" we feel is a hit in design and customization. And that makes it an awesome Rig of the Month here at Guru3D.com

1. What is your name / nickname /age / occupation?

My name is Luciel Campbell, 26,  I rarely use a nickname I just use Luciel but when I do use a nickname, it´s "Neonit". I´m an IT Consultant, currently working for Lamptron.

2. What did you first come here for?

I tend to read mostly stuff on the guru3d forums same as with another couple of forums, I rarely post, I´m more of a "reader" kind of person.

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

This system has becomed my day to day pc as I had to use some parts from my main PC to complete it.
