Guru3D Rig of the Month 2011 competition series

Each month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows. This months entry oozes in style yet remains a minimalist build.

For 2011 we upped the prize that you can win a little.


The winner of the months Rig of the Month will receive an OCZ Technology Z Series 1000W Modular PSU (80 plus Gold Certified) delivered for free at it's doorsteps as a nice incentive. These PSUs feature ultra-high efficiency of 90% and have achieved the 80+ Gold Certification.

With a peak wattage of 1100W a single +12V rail (83A) design, the Z1000 doesn’t put limits on your system the way competing PSUs do.


This months winner is Adeel Hussain AKA blade, at the age of 22 he is a CFA L2 candidate, hey as you can see we have a large and wide audience alright. The end result is a stunning looking PC built themed Transformers, Optimus Prime in particular.

2. What did you first come here for?I use my system mainly for Gaming but apart from gaming i do Excel financial Work which is very vital for me in my career path.
 

I came here first looking for Nvidia Drivers and found out that this website also had a forum. After visiting the forums, Ii used to visit the Games, demos section a lot and used to love seeing screenshots which other members posted.
 

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

I use my system mainly for Gaming but apart from gaming i do Excel financial Work which is very vital for me in my career path.
