Rig of the Month February 2011

Guru3D Rig of the Month 2011 competition series

The winner of the months Rig of the Month will receive an OCZ Technology Z Series 1000W Modular PSU (80 plus Gold Certified) delivered for free at it's doorsteps as a nice incentive. These PSUs feature ultra-high efficiency of 90% and have achieved the 80+ Gold Certification. With a peak wattage of 1100W a single +12V rail (83A) design, the Z1000 doesn’t put limits on your system the way competing PSUs do.

Each month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows. This months entry oozes in style yet remains a minimalist build. For 2011 we upped the prize that you can win a little.

The rig of the Month April 2011 is not necessarily the most beautiful PC on the planet in fact it's the opposite of that, it is however unique and once submitted we couldn't help the fact that it stuck into our minds. It's not pretty, it's not sexy, it just is exactly the opposite of what one can expect for a ROTM and sure ... it's even quite messy, but that works somehow ... As such, meet Craig Fay 27 years old working for a plastic bottling company in the IT department with his crazy rig.

Would you like to have your PC published? Check out the lower half of this landing page and read what is required.
