AS SSD Benchmark - Kioxia Exceria G2 1 TB

Now it's time for the Kioxia Exceria G2 1 TB. The first result is in a first/single run — the second after making it 5x, and the shown temperature.

  • Bare drive

  • Z690 Apex radiator

  • be quiet! MC1

  • be quiet! MC1 Pro

  • Elecgear EL-80P

  • Sabrent Rocket SB-HTSK

Below is the temperature summary:

Sabrent Rocket, Elecgear, and Apex radiators are leading the back keeping the temperature of up to 55 degrees. BQ offerings were very close to each other with a bit above 60 degrees (still over 15 degrees better than without a radiator).

As for the performance, it's rather close, with only MC1 Pro quite surprisingly a bit behind the rest.

We made two Thermal Paste roundups – one in 2019 and the second one in 2021. Why won’t we try something else and check the temperature influence for other PC components than the CPU/GPU? Maybe it would be good to test the importance of the radiator on the NVMe drive performance? Why’s that?
