The RAM came in a mainly black box with color accents. There is a cut-out showing one of the two black memory bars. The product picture, the series name on the front, and the Intel XMP compatibility can be seen.
On the backside, there are mentioned the capacity and frequency. On both sides, we have the Trident Z5 RGB family logo. On one side is a sticker with the model designation, clock speed, voltage and timings, serial number, and production date.
The Trident Z5 RGB kit (consisting of two 16 GB modules running at 7200 MHz) has a very nice look and a black exterior (with an aluminum strip in the middle. PCB is black, and XMP version 3.0 is supported. The radiators are integrated with the PCB using an adhesive pad on each side, and dismantling them would require significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a more extended period), so I did not do this. I did not recommend it either (as it would void the warranty).
The backside stickers tell you this is a 2 x 16 GB kit operating at 7200 MHz, with CL34, at 1.4 Volts. This should be more than enough for the typical user/gamer (it’s rather aimed at some more hardcore users), and it can come in handy for you if you process video or graphics. We recommend sticking to the preconfigured XMP profile settings for optimal performance.
