The Z390 motherboard will get you six SATA 6 Gb/s storage ports. Combined in here is are M.2 PCI Express slots using x4 PCIe lanes, thus 32 GB/sec of performance. There are plenty of and 3.1 ports available through internal motherboard connectors including USB 3.1 Gen 2 would be the fastest 10 Gbps connectors.

Here we can see the four DIMM slots which offer support for dual-channel DDR4 memory up to an advertised 4266 MHz (OC). We recommend a 2667 MHz kit or faster. Most if not all motherboard partners offer 'XMP' support.

The Realtek ALC 1220 codec is housed for your audio and is enhanced by an ESS DAC & Nahimic caps.  The overall looks are just really nice though, look at the heatsink design. The VRM area is totally covered as well.

to your right of the CPU socket and below the chipset heatsink, you can see the M.2 slots. NVMe M.2 SSDs are really fast on this platform as our results will show. All of them are shielded, again this looks really sweet plus it is actually functional for SSD cooling.
