So this is the GHOST macro Station. Basically it is a small external pod with a monochrome OLED (128px x 64px resolution) screen in it. OLED is great as each pixel illuminates on a per-pixel basis. It will display information as to what profile you have activated, your DPI setting, the polling rate. But with the mouse and this screen you can even change profile settings and assign say a backspace to one of the buttons.

The Ghost Macro Station connects directly to your computer via a braided 1.8m (approx 6ft) dual USB cable. two you ask? Well, it still performs with only a single USB connected but if you like to speed up the charging time both USB plugs can be connected. With the mouse you can navigate through options, you can map basic commands such as default mouse buttons, multimedia functionality, common Windows functions etc. The one negative would be that macros can still only be created in software, but in all fairness expecting the mouse to be able to deal with that would be a bit too much to ask I guess.

With each profile change the Aivia color will change. On screen you will also notice battery life, via a cable you can power the mouse too if the two AA batteries run out of juice.

Located at the front base is a 50cm retractable Mini-USB cable that can be used to charge the mouse, giving you plenty of room to continue using the mouse while it’s charging.
