Two 6-pin PEG connectors. These are mandatory to connect. You'll receive two 4-pin Molex to PEG converters as well should you only have one or even no 6-pin connector headers from your PSU. In the last case, seriously... it's really time to upgrade your PSU my friend.
Connectivity. The blue protective caps are still covering the graphics card but it sure is good to see how much connectivity this card can deal with. With the Radeon HD 5870 SOC series cards we have four digital connectors at our disposal -- we spot two dual-link DVI, an HDMI and a DisplayPort connector, all gold plated. If you'd like to go 3x 2560x1600 with Eyefinity then that is not an issue.
Here we have flipped the card around and look at the bottom side. It's a dual-slot card and cooling design, mandatory these days in the mid-range and high-end graphics card segments.
Four U shaped heat-pipes lead towards a copper base. Two 80mm fans blow air over the aluminum fins.
The Radeon HD 5000 series will obviously also be CrossfireX compatible, you could hook up one or even two more of these cards and go really nuts. Typically however, we do recommend you not use more than two GPUs, as drivers wise you'll quickly run into problems, let alone performance scaling becomes more inefficient. To your upper right you can see the two Crossfire connectors.
