As you guys know a new socket is required for the Sandy Bridge processors. If we zoom in a little we can spot lots of room around socket LGA 1155, also we spot quality capacitors and solid core chokes.

Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 4 design includes 2x copper printed circuit boards (PCB) for what Gigabyte is touting as stability, reliability, and durability. The component selection was done properly alright. Just under the grey heatsink we can see new CPU MOSFETs, Gigabyte calls these Driver MOS MOSFETS and you guys know them from MSI as well branded DrMOS.

Notable is the fact that board features Gigabyte's DualBIOS technology to ensure a high level of failure protection.

The ATX motherboard power connector is position properly, with above it the four DDR3 DIMM slots. How cool is it that most DIP components are all colored black ? Lovely. The motherboard can take up-to 16GB of memory clocked at 1333 MHz. Overclocked BIOS options allow for settings at 1600/1866 and even 2133 MHz as well.

To the left side we spot four SATA2 connectors and (white) two SATA 6G connectors, the motherboard makes use of an extra Marvell 88SE9128 A 6G controller that provides two eSATA 6G ports on the back panel.
