We begin with our usual pages that show the ins and outs of this graphics card with photos, all taken with an in-house photo-shoot of course. Gigabyte offers a cooling solution that works. The card has a dark PCB and triple-fan dark looking cooler. Street prices for the card currently sit at a slightly steep € 319,- with a fairly similar USD value.

The Gaming OC model is a factory tweaked version (fairly close to the MSRP price though) of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is powered by NVIDIA's more modest offering in Turing, lacking RT and Tensor cores. This is a TU116 graphics processor. These cards are fitted with 6 GB GDDR6 memory running at an effective data rate of 12 Gbps, which is a lower value from the 2060/2070/2080 cards. It follows a boost frequency of 1860 MHz.

The card has a new a dark look dual-slot design and has been fitted with one HDMI port and three DisplayPort connectors. The GeForce GTX series has DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, 1.4a Ready, enabling support for 8K displays at 60Hz.

  • Boost: 1,860 MHz
  • Memory 12.0 Gbps GDDR6 (effective data-rate)

Leaving out extra monitor ports creates room for an exhaust vent. Mind you, lacking is a virtual link and NVLINK connector, SLI is not supported.
